Count the shelf
Scan with your phone or a USB scanner. Variance in units and dollars shows up line by line, and Shopify only moves when you press apply.
Binly counts stock with the phone in your pocket, runs your purchase orders and receiving, and brings your Stocky history across for free while the export window is open (about 30 November).
Free plan available. 7 day trial on paid plans, no card required.
What you get
Count the shelf, buy the right quantity, and know what the stock cost you. No hardware to buy, no consultant to book.
Scan with your phone or a USB scanner. Variance in units and dollars shows up line by line, and Shopify only moves when you press apply.
Days of cover and a suggested quantity, grouped by vendor, with the date you need to send the order by.
Barcode and price labels straight from an order you just received. Dymo thermal, Avery sheets, PDF or CSV.
Two minutes
Phone in one hand, laptop on the bench. This is the app itself, not a slide deck.
Hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play.
See it working
Nine screens from a store with 73,893 variants, exactly as they look today. Click any of them to open it full size.
Every screenshot on this page is the app itself. Click one to zoom, then use the arrow keys.
Count
The phone in your pocket is the scanner. A USB scanner at the till and a Bluetooth scanner both work too, and you can still type a SKU when the barcode has worn off.
Several phones can scan into the same session, so two people can work opposite ends of the shop.
Big catalogs
Nobody finishes a 70,000 line count in one sitting, so Binly does not ask you to. You take a section, finish it, and the progress waits for you.
Buy
Half the boxes turn up, the rest follow next week. Binly receives what arrived, keeps the backorder open, and prices each delivery separately.
The order by date is the last day an order can leave and still land before the shelf empties. The maths sits on the screen, so you can argue with it.
Labels
Receive 106 units and the label queue already knows about them. Pick a template, choose whether price and SKU show, print from the browser.
Products with no barcode get one generated, so the next stocktake can scan them.
Suppliers and costs
Inventory value, sales velocity and the items about to run dry, on one screen you can open before a supplier call.
Weighted average cost is built from the deliveries you receive in Binly, so it reflects what you paid rather than a number typed in once.
Everything Binly does
No feature matrix, no asterisks. If something is not on this list, we have not built it yet, and we will say so if you ask.
19 things, all shipped.
Your Shopify stock is already right. The move is about the paperwork behind it: what you ordered, who you ordered it from, and the cost you agreed at the time. None of that lives in Shopify. We do the import, you check our work, and it is free while the export window is open.
954 purchase orders matched line by line and imported for one 12,000 variant retailer in an afternoon.
Step 1
Pull your purchase orders and history out to CSV. The window shuts around 30 November. Sooner is better.
Step 2
Email us the file, or upload it in Binly yourself. Whichever is quicker for you.
Step 3
We match every line to your Shopify products, then hand it back for you to read. Nothing goes live in your store until you approve it.

Support
We built Binly ourselves and we run our own stock on it. When something breaks you are talking to the person who wrote the code, not a bot with a ticket number. Replies land in the app and in your inbox.
Support conversation
Hey, my stocktake is not syncing to Shopify after I hit apply. It says success but the quantities are not updating on my end.
Hi Jamie, this happens when your Shopify session token expires mid count. Fix is pushed in v1.2.1. Refresh and try again, and if it still will not sync, send me the stocktake ID and I will replay it from our side.

FAQ
No. The phone in your pocket does the job. A USB or Bluetooth scanner works too, and so does typing the SKU by hand when the barcode has worn off.
No. Counts, imports and cost updates all wait for you. You review the numbers, then press apply, and only then does Shopify move.
Send us your Stocky export and we bring the purchase orders, the cost you ordered at, the received and partly received status, and the supplier names across, matched to your Shopify products. It is free while the export window is open, which closes around 30 November.
We have run counts and cost recalculations against a store with 73,893 variants. Starter is capped at 500 products because most single location shops sit well under that; Pro has no cap.
Not the statistical kind, and we would rather say so here than after you have paid. Binly reorders from your real sales and your real supplier lead times. If you need open to buy planning or seasonal forecasting models, we are not the right tool.
Email us and the person who wrote the code replies, usually within four hours on a working day. Replies also show up inside the app, so you do not have to dig through your inbox.
